Selena’s relationship with her ex-boyfriend Evan Goldberg was one of the most publicized in recent memory. When Selena ended things with him she told him that she loves him, so it seems at least a little bit unlikely that he was going anywhere.
But as anyone who has ever dated a celebrity knows, the whole “you’re just friends” thing can get a little bit dicey. Especially when it comes to a really hot celebrity like Selena Gomez. Like any other girl, she’s had boyfriends that her ex-boyfriend couldn’t keep track of.
Aussie superstar Austin Mahone has been dating the equally hot singer, singer, actress, singer, actor, model and dancer, Selena Gomez. Gomez is currently engaged to her boyfriend, Evan Goldberg, but it appears as though they are planning on splitting up soon. In an interview with People, Mahone admitted to being a little worried that he and Gomez are dating too much.
It’s one thing to have a relationship with a celebrity that you like and then break up with them shortly after marrying them. It’s quite another to have a relationship with them that you like and then not know what to do with it. It’s hard enough just to keep a secret from the people you love, let alone from someone whom you only see once a year. I’m beginning to think that’s just too much pressure.
But at least this is a way we can still be friends and still see each other, regardless of the secret. We will always know when we’re together and when we’re not.
