As an artist, I get asked a lot of questions about my artwork. I tend to answer these questions with a bit of a chuckle, while at the same time taking the time to be very careful about how I answer. I think these questions are a part of the bigger conversation we are having, and are often used as a means to get attention, so the responses I get are not always the best.
I think the two most common questions I get from artists is about the medium they use and if they can paint a realistic portrait from a phone. I think this is a legitimate question, and if you are an artist who uses a phone for any reason then I think it’s worth answering. Of course, I think the answer would be dependent on the artist and their skill level. Many artists prefer to use digital drawing tools and digital brushes to work on their work.
As you can guess, the first question I was asked by a few artists was whether they could use a camera to do a portrait. I got the answer, but some people don’t bother that much. They just want to take a photo of a face and pretend it’s a painting.
Just like in real life, you can take a photo with a digital camera and send it to a friend to use as a reference. But what if you don’t have a friend? Then you need to get one. The only way I know to get a free photo is by getting a friend to take a picture of you on camera.
The best you can do is have a friend who has a camera take a picture of you. If you dont have a friend, you need to get one.
You cannot just go out in public without a photo. It is very hard to get a photograph of yourself in public, so you need to find a way to take one for yourself. A big reason why people are so hard-pressed to take one is because they feel that everyone else already has a photo of them. It is true that everyone else has a photo of you, but it doesnt mean it is all theirs. A photo is just a photographic record of your face.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people in public with a phone in their hand. The fact is that even if you didn’t want one (unless you were a weirdo or an idiot), you still needed a picture to prove to someone that you are a normal person.
Of course, you can still do this trick even when you dont have a picture. Look at these people in the street.
